Trin’s Pick: Turks & Caicos – Barefoot Luxury and Crystal Blue Water
Some destinations just hit different—and Turks & Caicos is one of them. With water so clear it doesn’t feel real, powdery white sand, and boutique resorts that practically whisper “relax,” it’s my go-to recommendation for couples, honeymooners, and anyone craving luxury with a laid-back twist.

Whether you're looking for a romantic escape or a girls’ getaway with spa days and beachside cocktails, Turks & Caicos gives you all the beauty of the Caribbean—without the chaos of crowded ports or tourist traps.
Why I Love It
Turks & Caicos is the definition of barefoot luxury. It’s upscale without being stuffy, calm without being boring, and incredibly photogenic (your camera roll will be 90% turquoise and white).
There’s a reason so many of my honeymoon clients choose it: it’s peaceful, safe, romantic, and feels a world away—yet still easy to reach from the U.S.
Best Time to Go
- December–April: Peak season with postcard-perfect weather (book early!).
- May–June: Warm, sunny, and slightly less expensive—great for shoulder season deals.
- August–October: Hurricane season, but some deals pop up for flexible travelers.
Where to Stay
Turks & Caicos is all about intimate resorts, beachfront villas, and adult-only hideaways. Here are a few client favorites:
- Grace Bay Club: Luxury, all-suite resort on the iconic Grace Bay Beach. Ideal for couples.
- Wymara Resort & Villas: Chic, modern, and Instagrammable with spa services + infinity pools.
- The Palms: Elegant and family-friendly, with a spa, gorgeous pool, and spacious suites.
✨ When booked through me: You may receive perks like complimentary breakfast, $100 resort credits, and upgrades when available.
What to Do
This isn’t the type of place where you need a jam-packed itinerary. But if you want a little adventure with your relaxation, here’s what I love recommending:
- Half-day sailing + snorkeling tour: Explore hidden cays, sea caves, and reef snorkeling spots.
- Horseback riding on the beach: Yes, it’s as magical as it sounds (especially at sunset).
- Couples massage or spa day: Many resorts offer oceanfront treatment cabanas—yes, please.
- Dinner at Coco Bistro: Dine under the palm trees at one of the island’s most romantic restaurants.
